What Inspired A Messy Affair?

They say that everybody has a novel in them… or even two. I guess the novel that was inside me was a Messy Affair, because try as I have, I've not been able to complete a second novel since I finished writing this one, now over two years ago. I guess it was inspired by my life thus far, especially where affairs of the heart, or relationships are concerned.
